ViaCher

Viacher, or Dylan (she/her) is a dedicated and passionate individual who saw an opportunity to create a welcoming space for female gamers from her own competitive experience beginning in 2021. Her goal was to provide an environment where women could pursue their love for gaming and develop their skills without facing gender-related challenges. With a modest approach and a deep love for esports, she founded the team, aiming to foster inclusivity and support for her fellow female gamers. Her efforts have led to the growth of the team, and she hopes to continue making a positive impact in the gaming community, while promoting gender equality along the way.

Stubz

Since stubZ (he/they) entered the Texas Smash Ultimate scene in October of 2021, they have committed themselves to bettering community events through TOing, streamlining, infrastructure building, advising, mental health coaching, and other endeavors that improve the experience of everyone devoted to the game. Though it is a competitive activity, they are adamant in their pursuit of maintaining the core enjoyment that Smash Ultimate brings to people’s lives. They place high value on fostering welcoming and engaging spaces for players that are traditionally underrepresented in the community. Whether it be putting a player on stream who doesn’t normally have that opportunity or offering a small complement to an opponent in their own sets, they attempt to make the scene a more pleasant environment in whatever ways they can. In their own play, they are grinding to become the most notable nine-fingered Zelda player out there. When not putting energy into Smash, they are typically working hard educating college students and wrapping up a PhD in African History.
